LTC (Retired) Roderick (Rod) Sylvester dedicated 14 years of Coaching, Teaching and Mentoring Students/Cadets. Throughout his tenure as the Senior Army Instructor at Spalding High School, Roderick mentoring of students were vital to the success of so many students. As well as the JROTC Program being recognized as an Honor Unit with Distinction for 14 consecutive years. His unwavering conduct, loyalty, and sacrifices has left a positive impact for all to follow and reflect credit upon himself, Spalding High School, its JROTC Program and the United State Army.
